Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
Wordpress made the first post and tells me that this is your first post.. How prosaic should I feel really? Should my first post if unrevised and unedited contain just a few words ? Should I be considered dumb like a 2-year child who is told that Mr. A is your father and Mrs. A is your mother ? Didn’t wordpress get something different to post, Did it?
Things have changed and changed dramatically with time and now bloggers are smart enough to learn what could be their first post & first comment without indication, so if anything has to change, its the post made by the wordpress.. Instead of falling short of words, wordpress should make the first post something more meaningful and informative. Even the default theme of wordpress by Michael Heilemann contains very romantic poetic lines at the end of style.css template file where it is hardly noticed by anyone. It reads – “Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage, I can’t afford a carriage.
But you’ll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.” ….
Wordpress should have made a teaser post that could create impulse among bloggers to write some content first before moving further with blog management on a newly setup wordpress blog. Or it should have written about weblog evolutionary trend or about wordpress development.
Don’t you think, its the time, with frequent updates of wordpress, the first post made by the wordpress should also undergo change ? Suggest the text that wordpress should have impressed as first post & comment when blog is set up ?

“Hi, this is a comment.
To delete a comment, just log in and view the post's comments. There you will have the option to edit or delete them. ” – Instead of this statement in 1st comment, this should be a teaser like, justifying to be called as comment…
