You might have more than one account on gTalk (google talk) and you might want to be online on both of your account through gtalk but by default gtalk restricts login of only one account per computer. Through this little hack described in this post, you can log into multiple accounts on gtalk and use those accounts simiultaneously.
TO do this,
Right-click on gtalk icon on your desktop.
Chose properties.
Under shortcut tab – in the target field, you will see something like this- “C:\Program FilesGoogle\GoogleTalk\googletalk.exe” /startmenu
Replace startmenu with nomutex so that the modified data should look like
C:\Program FilesGoogle\GoogleTalk\googletalk.exe” /nomutex
Hit on Apply and Ok button.
Thats it. Now double click on gtalk application each time you want to log into a different account and enjoy all you gtalk accounts at the same time.
